come around = come round = become conscious again
examples:
- When Mary came round after the surgery, she asked to eat something.
- It was such a hot day, that an old woman fainted in the park. Luckily, she soon came round.
- The burglar hit me on the head. After that I don' t remember anything. When I came round I was in hospital.
- After the anaesthetic the doctor gave him, he hasn't come round yet.
